User Agreement

Revision from 29 июня 2026 года. This editable document is prepared for Novlet; before launching payments and subscriptions, it should be reviewed with a lawyer.

1. General Terms

This User Agreement governs the use of Novlet, including the book editor, public library, passkey sign-in, synchronization, publication tools, AI features, analytics, and future paid features.

Provider: Нелюбин Матвей Александрович, самозанятый исполнитель, применяющий налог на профессиональный доход. Public project name: АНХ. Contact: bookgames23@gmail.com.

The current version of the agreement is published on this page and may be updated when features, pricing, contacts, or legal details change.

2. Acceptance

By using the site, creating an account, registering a passkey, creating or publishing books, purchasing a subscription, or continuing to use the service after updates, the user confirms acceptance of this agreement.

If the user does not agree with these terms, they must stop using the site and must not purchase paid services.

3. Service Purpose

  • The service is intended for creating, editing, storing, syncing, publishing, and reading user books and related materials.
  • Some data may be stored locally in the browser; server storage is used when synchronization, publication, bookmarks, analytics, or paid functions are enabled.
  • Publishing a book publicly allows other visitors to view the published version.

4. Account and Passkey

  • Passkey sign-in may be used instead of passwords and is based on a cryptographic key pair.
  • The user is responsible for access to their device, browser, password manager, and passkey.
  • Access may be restricted if abuse, security risk, or violation of this agreement is suspected.

5. User Content

  • The user keeps rights to their texts, images, characters, descriptions, and other materials.
  • The user grants the service a technical license to store, process, display, sync, and publish content only as needed to provide the site features.
  • The user confirms that uploaded or published materials do not violate third-party rights or applicable law.
  • Illegal content, malware, unauthorized personal data, and copyright-infringing content are prohibited.

6. AI Features and Open API

  • The service may provide text, image, analysis, and editing features using AI providers or OpenAI-compatible endpoints configured by the user.
  • AI results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to existing materials. The user must review results before publication or commercial use.
  • If the user enters an API key for an Open API/OpenAI-compatible endpoint, the key is used to send requests to the provider selected by the user.
  • The user is responsible for API key security, provider terms, request limits, pricing, and any charges from external AI providers.

7. Subscriptions and Paid Features

Paid subscriptions, additional limits, AI features, sync, publication, or other paid options may be launched later. Pricing, billing period, limits, and included features must be shown before payment.

  • By purchasing a subscription or paid feature, the user accepts the displayed price, billing period, feature set, and payment method.
  • If auto-renewal applies, it must be clearly shown before payment, and cancellation must be available through the interface or support.
  • Access to paid features may be limited after non-payment, cancellation, chargeback, or violation of the terms.
  • Pricing and paid feature composition may change for future periods.

8. Cookies, Local Storage, and Analytics

  • Cookies, localStorage, and similar technologies are used for sign-in, passkey sessions, consent, settings, local drafts, security, and stability.
  • Analytics may collect visited routes, product stages, page duration, browser/session technical identifiers, and page-exit events after consent.
  • Book content, selected text, comments, and private drafts are not included in analytics events.
  • Clearing cookies or localStorage may sign the user out, reset settings, or delete locally stored data.

9. Personal Data

  • The service may process username, passkey technical identifiers, sessions, book materials, settings, subscription information, and technical site data.
  • Data is used to provide service features, sign-in, sync, publication, support, security, payments, analytics, and quality improvements.
  • The user may contact support about access, correction, or deletion when technically possible and legally allowed.

10. Liability and Availability

  • The service is provided as is. Availability, compatibility, absence of errors, and preservation of local device data are not guaranteed.
  • The user should make backups and export important books before critical work.
  • The provider is not responsible for external AI providers, payment systems, hosting, browsers, user devices, or third-party services.

11. Changes and Disputes

  • The provider may change features, interface, pricing, limits, publication rules, and technical architecture.
  • The parties aim to resolve questions through the contact email before formal legal action, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
